Just a little about me-I am a wife, a mother of 3 sons, an auntie, a daughter and a sister. All these titles along with being a teacher keep me busy and on my toes. I grew up in the town of Escalon and that is where I currently reside with my family. My family and I enjoy baseball (especially our Giants!!), camping, movies, the beach, and really any other activities that we can do together. When I have a little time to myself I enjoy reading, running, and watching baseball. I love teaching and I enjoy being with my students every day. My classroom is like my second family. That's just a little about me and I look forward to getting to know more about you this year as well.

Teaching Career |
I graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. I then returned back to the Central Valley and completed my teaching credential at Stanislaus State. While I was completing my credential, I worked as a long term substitute for physical education at Escalon High School. I completed my credential in 2004 and was hired to begin teaching for Oakdale Joint Unified School District shortly after. I began my teaching career at Magnolia Elementary School in 1st grade. The next year I moved to Fair Oaks Elementary in order to continue teaching 1st grade. I will now be entering my 17th year of teaching and all of them have been in 1st grade. I think it's safe to say that I LOVE 1ST GRADERS!!
